However, not every article will benefit from a personal touch, and putting one’s own experiences on the page may be uncomfortable, particularly for writers new to the style. By knowing when and how to insert themselves into their stories, though, science writers can successfully use their life experiences to create pieces that are personally meaningful and have a powerful impact on readers.
